Welcome to the ToDoList wiki
A community project
ToDoList is a task management tool that allows you to repeatedly sub-divide your tasks into more manageable pieces whilst still presenting a clean and intuitive user experience. ToDoList has been in continuous development for nearly 6 years and is an ongoing project. Tasklists are stored in XML which provides many opportunities for advanced formatting and printing using stylesheets. ToDoList's flexible design makes it ideal for both IT related projects as well as more general GTD uses.

The main download page for ToDoList and also the discussion forum is located on Codeproject.com, although you need to be a member to post comments and questions.

I really like this organizer and use it every day for the last year or so. HOWEVER, is it possible to move a task from one to-do list file (TDL) to another task list (TDL) file?? I have one which I call "Goals" and one which I call "WEEKLY", and it would be nice to be able to take certain tasks from the Goals.tdl and move it to the weekly.tdl (and vice versa to for the weeks I feel lazy).

ToDoList is working great for me. Here are my top two suggestions:
1) I want to be able to save the current filters and reapply the filters or sorting. For example, there could be a new menu that shows a name I entered, "Current XXX company tasks by priority", which would apply a filter I saved filtered by Allocated By and sorted by priority descending.
2) Have two "Comments" sections per item, one for statuses. One section would be for notes like "Turned over to client 11/1. Client tested 11/2". The other section would be "Related to order number 10049."
